Ultimate Athletics is proud to partner with the Wauconda Park District to provide introductory tumbling and cheerleading classes to the families in our community. We offer tiered programming starting with the toddler years then progressing through grade school level activities. Classes are open to boys and girls and no previous experience with gymnastics or tumbling is required.
With parent or caretaker by their side, your little one will explore new adventures in fine and gross motor activities, socialization, song and rhythm fun, and other enriching experiences that tie early childhood development and gymnastics together. (45 minutes)
Children will learn gymnastics on fun, clean, and size-appropriate equipment while under the instruction of an energetic, patient, and enthusiastic coach. Classes are structured to help your child reach physical and mental milestones as they progress through organized curriculum. (45 minutes)
Kids are instructed to learn tumbling, jumps, trampoline tricks and exercises, and participate in group games and fitness learning in Kinder Tumble. Skills are taught by means progression coaching to promote advancement through organized curriculum. (45 minutes)
Girls learn a structured skill set through progression training. Activities include guided stretch and strength training, beginner level tumbling drills and stations, skill acquisition on tumble track, and fun warm up games and activities. (60 minutes)
Boys learn a structured skill set through progression training. Activities include guided stretch and strength training, beginner level tumbling drills and stations, skill acquisition on tumble track, and fun warm up games and activities. (60 minutes)
Royalty in Training is a coed class for children, ages 3-9, who are ready to begin their journey toward All Star cheer! The program teaches basic cheer skills and ends with a performance for family and friends. The 10-week class is great for those athletes who wish to learn about cheerleading and boost their confidence before entering a competitive program. (90 minutes)
Cheerleaders who have completed Royalty in Training, have minimal experience, or participate on a school or recreational squad are invited to experience all star competitive cheerleading in a partial season format. This program is a great option for those who would like a “test run” before committing to a full season contract. Learn more here.
