Coaches at Ultimate Athletics are USASF-certified in all levels of instruction for pyramids, basket-tosses, tumbling and dance. From score sheets to technique to the latest stunts and choreography, our knowledge and experience is evident in an impressive record of 1st place wins and National Championship titles. Our goal is to help athletes develop the skill and confidence to perform at the highest level of competition and to teach life lessons through sport.
Coach Jessica is former school and professional cheerleader and has more than 20 years combined coaching experience. She has coached All Star, college, high school and junior high school cheer, as well as recreational cheer. She led her IOC5 team to The Cheerleading WOLRDS in 2015 and has won multiple titles across all of the teams she coaches. Jessica specializes in cheer, stunting and hyperflex.
Coach Jared is an accomplished and accredited cheer and tumbling coach. He is ACCA and ASEP certified. As a former cheer athlete, Jared won UCA National Champion titles in 2006 and 2008 with Kentucky. He coached the Henry Clay High School squad (Lexington, KY) to national finals in 2008 and 2010, placing 5th in 2010. The teams was also a two-time state runner up. Jared was a tumbling coach for 2010 Worlds champions, Kentucky Elite, and has been a tumbling coach for Ultimate Speed Camps since 2011. He has been a coach with the Majesties program since 2010. Jared also served as choreographer for multiple IHSA state finalists and champions.
Coach Blake has 5 years experience coaching cheer, tumbling and stunting. While at Layton Athletics, Blake brought his Senior 3 team a first place Grand Champion title as well as tumbling, jumps, choreo and stunting awards at CSG Tournament of Champions. He is certified in all levels of tumbling.
Maurice has been coaching tumbling at UA since 2012. He is certified in all levels. Coach Maurice is a former high school cheerleader where his team placed 4th in the IHSA state competition. He was also a state qualifier for the floor event in high school gymnastics. Maurice competes with IOC5 Sovereignty.
Coach Mathew has 4 years coaching experience specializing in tumbling and stunting. As an athlete, he was on his high school squad where he place 5th at state. He also competed All Star at Layton Athletics for 3 years.
Coach Josh has been tumbling since the age of four. As a 5Star Elite team tumbler, Josh has traveled around the world competing at both national and international tumbling competitions visiting France and England. He is currently a USTA National Team Member and USAG National Team Member and level 5 cheerleader. His titles include 6th place in double-mini and 8th place tumbling at world events in Metz, France. He is also a four-time competitor at The Cheerleading Worlds.
Craig has been a leader in the Illinois cheer and dance community for nearly two decades. As a former national champion with the University of Louisville Coed and the GymTyme All-Stars cheerleading programs, Craig brings more than 20 years of experience to the cheer and dance industry. He was a three-year head instructor and college staff member of the Universal Cheerleading Association and the former program director at St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Ill. Teams under Craig’s direction have earned countless regional, state and national titles.
By focusing on excellence and athlete, Craig’s goal is to build a championship organization by hiring qualified coaching staff, providing unmatched service and amenities, and acting as an industry representative with the NACCC and USASF.
He is also the owner/creator of Go Kids, Showcase Championship Events and Ultimate Speed Camps. Ultimate Speed Camps has grown into the largest instructional cheerleading camp company in the Mid-west.
Carrie has been involved with dance for more than two decades. Her career started in high school where she competed in both Poms and Hip Hop. After high school, she coached at HEAA where she led her team to three consecutive national titles and undefeated seasons. She also danced for a professional football team. As and All Star coach, her teams have won countless national titles, choreography awards and were among the first teams from Illinois to attend the USASF Dance Worlds.
Known as Big Mama, Faith has been with UA from the very beginning. She supports company operations by maintaining office systems and procedures, assisting the executive team, managing staff and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction all with dedication and a positive attitude. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Faith works tirelessly to deliver quality service and Royal Family hospitality by greeting each visitor with her famous “Welcome to Ultimate” hug.
Terri has been involved in the all star industry for almost 10 years. She was an account manager with Cheer Fusion, and when that gym merged with UA, she stayed on along with her daughter who was an athlete. Terri is responsible for the financial management of athlete accounts. She is happy to work with families on their individual financial arrangements.
Mary Harrold came to UA when her two daughters enrolled in the cheer program. They trained and competed under the coaching Craig and many other UA coaches. Both have gone on to cheer for Louisville. Even though her girls have moved on, Mary enjoys being around her Royal Family so she continues to work at the front desk. She also works full time at Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in Libertyville.
Merry has been running the UA deli right from the start keeping our athletes and visitors fueled with healthy snacks and beverages. She enjoys interacting with the entire royal family and prides herself on exceptional customer service.
