Ultimate Athletics is proud to partner with Illinois Dance Conservatory (IDC) to provide traditional ballet along with tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and hip-hop instruction. In addition, IDC has designed crossover courses that utilize ballet fundamentals to improve cheer flying and tumbling technique. Our former fitness area has been renovated to accommodate two new dance studios with classes offered most weeknights. Enrollment is open to students of all abilities who are interested in dance or want to supplement their cheer training. All courses are instructed by IDC staff.
A beginning/intermediate ballet class designed to improve body positions in cheerleading. Instruction focuses on the extreme extended lines of the body needed for elite flying technique, but is also suitable for bases and tumblers who want a more pleasing line to their aerial and stationary positions. UA dance team members are also welcome to enroll.
